Art of Rhyming Concert Wraps Up School Year

On Friday, April 24, the Occidental Intercultural Community Center, ASOC, Programming Board, KOXY, Remsen Bird and the Office of the Dean presented "The Art of Rhyming," a hip-hop concert featuring People Under the Stairs, Blu, Dead Prez, and Guru.

The concert was preceded by a free Barbecue, and a lunchtime panel with People Under the Stairs and Blu.

The concert began with a set by Blu, who was followed by local artists People Under the Stairs. Jazz/hip-hop fusion artist Guru was announced as a special guest, and the concert was wrapped up by Dead Prez.
